Most Car Manufacturers (including GM, Ford, Chrysler) have put out TSB's telling their Dealers not to do the following services, but most dealers and repair shops continue to sell these and other unneeded and potentially damaging services to unsuspecting customers!
These services include:
- transmission flushes
- engine flushes
- injector flushes*
* Injector cleaning is a valid repair for a specific problem pinpointed by a diagnostic routine, but not to be performed as a routine service.
Within the automotive repair business these services are now called wallet flushes (your wallet) by some and are sold to increase profits. These flushes and additives may be harmful to your vehicle. Our promise to you, we will never sell you anything your car does not truly need.
